1.    Reservations: should be made in writing by returning a completed booking form together with the deposit of 25% of the total rent due.

(Please call or email first to check availability.)  The owner, following receipt of this, will send a confirmation email.  This is the final acceptance of the booking.

 

2.    The owner agrees to let the property for the period of time, as noted on the Booking Form.

 

3.    Payment Schedule:    The balance of the rent, together with a returnable security deposit of £100 for every week of the rental period, is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the holiday.

 

The security deposit of £100 for every week of the rental period is required,  in case of damage to the property or its contents.  This will be refunded within ten days of the clients departure (in most cases immediately.)

 

4.    If the reservation is made less than eight weeks before the due commencement date, the final instalment of the full amount must accompany the Booking Form.

 

Cheques should be made payable o Jane Brooks and sent to Chez Mouillé, Mirambeau, 17150 Charente-Maritime, France.

 

5.    Please note that for winter bookings (October - May) a supplement of 30€ is payable to offset the cost of heating.

 

6.    The client undertakes to take good care of the property and its contents and to leave the property and its contents in a clean and orderly condition.  The owner reserves the right to make a deduction from the security deposit to cover damages and / or breakages.

 

7.    Children must be supervised at all times in the swimming pool and lake area.

 

8.    Any claims whatsoever by the client against the owner will be limited to the amount of rental paid.

 

9.    DISCLAIMER: The owner cannot accept responsibility whatsoever for any injury or damage to clients or any member of their party or any of their property whilst using the cottage, grounds, lake, car park or pool.  Under no circumstances shall the owners liability exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.

 

10.   Acceptance of these terms and conditions: completing the booking form implies knowledge and accceptance of these terms and conditions.   Please click on link below
